This is where it starts.
To unsheep is to unflock.
Let’s get one thing straight. This is not a brand about sheep. Well. It is, a little. But not the kind you’re picturing.
The sheep in question is the version of yourself that moves through life on autopilot – following, agreeing, consuming, repeating – without ever stopping to ask whether any of it was actually your idea. That sheep is very well-behaved. Very efficient. Deeply, profoundly boring.
To unsheep is to notice that you have been sheeping. That’s it. That’s the whole first step. Not a lifestyle overhaul. Not a manifesto pinned to a door. Just a moment of recognition – quiet, almost unremarkable – that somewhere along the way the path chose you, rather than the other way around.
Unsheep started in 2017 with exactly this idea. The world was loud then. It is considerably louder now. Which means the idea has, unfortunately, aged extremely well.
Twelve weeks. Twelve ideas. One line of the manifesto at a time.
Welcome back. Or welcome, if this is the first time.
Fun Fact
Here’s how we see it. The opposite of a sheep is not a wolf. It’s not a rebel, a revolutionary, or someone who makes everything unnecessarily difficult. It is simply a person who is paying attention. Turns out that’s rarer than it should be.
